What are Centers for Independent Living (CILs)?
Centers for Independent Living (CILs) help support community living and independent living services and programs for people with disabilities. They are designed and operated by people with disabilities. The guiding belief behind CILs is that all people should have the same opportunities to choose where they want to live, earn a living, lead the lives they want, and make their own decisions about their lives.
