NINDS conducts research on the causes, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological disorders and stroke, and supports basic research in related scientific areas. NINDS also collects and disseminates research information related to neurological disorders. Health information for various health issues, such as Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson's disease can be found on the website, as well as information about research being done on those health issues.
