Who We Are

The Center for Disease Control (CDC)The agency provides emergency preparedness and response to emergency pandemic situations.  The agency offers information about infectious diseases, their treatment, vaccinations, and other preventative measures. It also provides information about chronic health conditions, their treatments, and prevention.  

Currently, the CDC is monitoring and responding to infectious outbreaks of Covid-19, monkeypox, influenza (flu), and polio. The CDC website includes a Covid-19 County Check that returns information about the levels of infection in your community and the recommended guidelines to prevent infection. The CDC also provides information about vaccinations including vaccination guidelines for travelers per destination.
