Who We Are
The Parkinson Study Group has been carrying out cooperative therapeutic research since 1986. They have multi-centered trials examining the symptomatic and neuroprotective effects of experimental interventions in Parkinson’s disease.
Their aim is to advance knowledge about the cause(s), disease progression, and treatment of PD and related disorders. They are committed to:
- Open communication within the scientific community
- Ensuring research is peer reviewed by other health care providers prior to publication and that all research results are available to the public
- Revealing potential conflicts of interest of the group and each PSG member
- Democratic governance of its organizations and activities
