The primary program is residential summer camp from June-August, followed by themed weekend respites during the other nine months and the year-round Fairlee Vacations program that takes group trips to places of interest for those ages 18+.
Residential Camp is located very close to the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and is for both children and adults of all ages 6+ with all disABILITIES. Summer sessions typically last six days, some are twelve days and five days. Daily schedules include many activities for campers to choose from including:
- arts/crafts
- music
- sports
- games
- swimming
- kayaking and canoeing
- climbing tower
- zip line
- high/low ropes
- fishing
- nature trails

- and more
There are two levels of support which are one to one counselors for those with intensive needs, and one counselor for three campers. Some campers choose the "Daily Adventure" option where campers leave camp each day for a different adventure such as heading to the seashore, state park, museum, zoo, and other attractions. Camp Fairlee was originally opened in 1954 and is accredited by the American Camp Association. In 2015, the entire camp was torn down and replaced with all new buildings including seven new dorms, dining hall, health center, and gymnasium/activity center. Nurses on staff 24/7 and physician on call 24/7.
