Who We Are

The R.E.A.L. Kids Summer Camp (Respect. Empowerment. Awareness. Leadership) is for children who are exposed to family violence.  They are at risk for anxiety and depression, social isolation, physical and psychological aggression and propensity to perpetuate the cycle of domestic violence. To address the needs of children exposed to family violence, Thrive Virginia developed the R.E.A.L. Kids camp to provide children with the opportunity to develop positive coping mechanisms, teaching them to thrive in difficult environments. Camp is a skill-building day for children between the ages of 6 and 17.

Project Hope is dedicated to eliminating domestic and sexual violence.

Call the 24 hour, confidential Hotline 1-877-966-4357 (HELP) if you know somebody is being abused or assaulted.
