In business since 1992, Sign Language Professionals, INC. (SLP) provides quality interpreting, translating and real-time captioning services to customers nationwide. SLP provides sign language, cued speech, foreign language, CAT and Typewell services for Limited English, Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Services are provided to businesses, industries, schools, colleges, events, churches, medical and legal settings. Interpreters hold credentials with the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) or the Virginia Quality Assurance Screening program (VQAS). To maintain certification, interpreters are required to complete continuing education requirements to keep their certification current.
In addition, we offer free consulting for businesses that need help in understanding compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Braille document services can be provided.
