Holiday Donations

Christ Episcopal Church, in the late Summer before public schools begins, provides Back Packs to school age children of pantry clients. These are filled with supplies based on lists provided by the schools. At Thanksgiving and Christmas one pantry date is replaced by special Holiday Distributions of foods for special holiday meals.

The Church also supports a Food Pantry that is open on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.  At each pantry, 9 to 12 volunteers distribute food to needy families.  The food pantry also administers two federal feeding programs, Food for Life, and USDA food distribution.  The food pantry is a member of the Rappahannock Area Food Bank.
