In Home Residential Support

Dominion Waiver Services provides in-home residential support.  Individuals with developmental disabilities are provided support while living in the community.  The counselor provides training, monitors health and assists where needed.  A 1:1 counselor is selected through a personalized matching process to ensure a long lasting relationship. 



The following services are provided:



Training in adapting behavior for home and community environments; assistance with learning to use community resources; training in functional skills related to personal care; encouragement to socialize with others in the community; and more.

In-Home Supports is a one-to-one service that focuses on training individuals in everyday living skills to promote independence through relationship building, money management, and safety.

We strongly encourage family and agency involvement to help make and maintain a good match. Once a counselor is in place, he or she works diligently to have a seamless, impactful integration into the individual’s life.
