The Autism Society of Northern Virginia (ASNV) offers information about support groups. ASNV does not currently sponsor our own support groups but staff can direct you towards support groups in the area for autistic adults and parents of children with autism.
Some of the programs include:
- Parents & Caregivers of Adults on the Autism Spectrum Group - focused on ASD Adults, job searching and independence;
- Fredericksburg Parent Support Group - Joys, problems shared with parents, friends and caregivers;
- Peer Mentor Program - Experiences parents with autism are paired with parents new to autism
