Who We Are
Virginia Comfort Zone is a bereavement camp for youth 7 years old through 17. The camp serves those who have lost a parent, a sibling or primary caregiver. The Camp provides recreational and fitness activities while the participants acquire tools to help them cope with their loss. Staffed by trained volunteer counselors, including grief professionals.
Virginia Comfort Zone camps are hosted at two camps: Camp Hanover in Mechanicsville and Westview on the James in Goochland.
Camp is offered one or multi-day camps throughout the year. Call for dates of a camp.
