Who We Are
The Adult Substance Abuse Outpatient Group at Prince William Family Counseling focuses on building relapse prevention skills and addressing issues faced by those who are working to build a strong recovery from substance abuse / addiction. The following topics will be covered / discussed in groups:
- Relapse prevention skills
- Substance abuse education
- Addiction as a brain disease
- 12 step support programs
- Building coping skills
- And more…
Potential group members must first schedule an individual session for an evaluation. Length of stay in the group will be determined by the individual’s progress. The group will run on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
