Adaptive Medical Equipment Reuse Program, The Equipment Connection

disAbility Resource Center offers The Equipment Connection.  The Equipment Connection is a program that provides assistive durable medical equipment to persons with disabilities at no cost. When insurance will not pay for certain types of wheelchairs, walkers, ramps, etc and consumer is on limited income, Equipment Connection may have the right equipment at no cost.



The Equipment Connection accepts donations of gently used or brand new durable medical equipment to be disbursed to those in need. The program is designed to bridge the gap and provide for those needing immediate support.



Any individual with a disability can be considered for assistance. An application has to be completed or the individual must have a referral from a health care professional.
