Who We Are
The American Cancer Society sponsors the Great American Smoke-Out every year on the third Thursday in November to encourage smokers to use the date to make a plan to quit or to plan in advance and quit smoking that day.
An email-based support program to support smokers' plans to quit is available on the website.
Films and literature on smoking are offered to the public on request. You can also find free tips and tools to quit smoking on the website.
