Who We Are

A Community Action Agency which assists newly released parolees and their families in making a successful transition from prison to their community. Services can include immediate assistance in obtaining clothing, housing, transportation; employment assistance; counseling; and societal integration.



This statewide re-entry program for ex-prisoners provides pre-release and post-release education, counseling and direct services in the critical areas of employment, housing, family and community relations, food, transportation and legal/medical referrals. Pre-release workshops are conducted in prisons throughout the State of Virginia. The program uses volunteers. 



There are service sites throughout the state of Virginia to provide case managers to help with employment, counseling and peer support, social integration, career development, and finding food, clothing, housing, transportation, etc.
