Early support is important! Understanding child development and the medical conditions that can delay normal development can make all the difference in the life of a child.

To learn more about child development and connect with resources for infants and toddlers from birth through age two who are not developing as expected or have a medical condition that can delay normal development, visit Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia.

Community-based supports may also be available. To learn more about state programs and supports in your local community, visit IFSP's "Resources for Families" webpage or contact your local CSB/BHA.

To find out about supports for children with special health care needs, visit the Virginia Department of Health Care Connection for Children and Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT).
