Who We Are

Vaccinate Virginia, a program of the Virginia Department of Health no longer requires pre-registration for COVID-19 vaccines. Search for vaccine availability in your area on the website. The call center offers help in English, Spanish, and 100 more languages.

For primary and booster-recommended vaccination scheduling and for more information about vaccination in Virginia, visit the website. Families have many options for where to get their children a Pfizer-BioNTech, Novamax, or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccination sites for children may include:

  • Pediatric offices,
  • Family practice offices,
  • Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs),
  • Retail pharmacies for children ages 3 years and older,
  • Local Health Departments.

By either clicking “ASL Now” on the vaccinate.virginia.gov website where people pre-register for a shot, or by video phone at (877) VAX-IN-VA also (877) 829-4682, deaf and hard of hearing Virginians can connect with ASL-fluent representatives and have their questions or concerns regarding vaccinations addressed.

On July 19, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) gave its approval for the use of the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine is authorized and recommended for adults aged 18 years and older as a two-dose primary series. Novavax information is available on the website.

Copies of your Virginia vaccination records are available through the website.
