Richard R. Dart ALS Clinic

The Richard R. Dart ALS Clinic began in 1999 as the first multidisciplinary clinic in Virginia specifically for patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). It has been recognized as the region's first Certified Treatment Center of Excellence (CTCE) by the ALS Association. 

Our staff includes: 

• Neurologists,
• Physical therapists,
• Occupational therapists,
• Social workers, 
• Speech pathologists, 
• Respiratory therapists,
• Nurse coordinators,
• Nutritionists.

The Clinic collaborates with the movement disorders division of the Botulinum Toxin clinic and provides testing services at the nearby EMG lab.
