Who We Are
Altruistic Life Services, Inc. seeks to provide individuals with developmental disabilities (DD) with an opportunity to enhance their daily skills, knowledge, and abilities within an altruistic living environment. It is their belief that with a therapeutic and caring approach, an active living environment, and educational supports through guidance, an individual can learn to function independently and become an active member of the community and society.
Sponsored residential services consist of supports, provided in a licensed service location and community. These supports should enable the individual to:
- Improve or maintain his or her health/medical status
- Improve abilities
- Acquire new home living and/or community skills
- Demonstrate safe and appropriate behavior for his or her community
Medicaid reimbursement is available only for residential support allowable activities those of which are authorized and provided according to an approved plan for supports, when the individual is present, and when a qualified provider is providing the services.
