The United Spinal Association of Virginia USAV) provides a peer mentor program for persons with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). Peer and Family Mentoring provides newly injured individuals and their families with resources and a mentor to help navigate the challenges of SCI. Mentors are matched with peers based on age, gender, level of injury, and interests.
