Mental Health America of Fredericksburg (MHAF) offers a mental health helpline and referral service. Call local 540-371-2704. The Helpline is a confidential referral service that links people needing help with those who can provide it in the public, private, and nonprofit sections, answers questions, and provides referrals to community resources and educational literature on mental health issues.
Call the Helpline Monday through Friday 9 am until 2 pm. The Suicide Prevention and Crisis line can be reached at 9-8-8
