Celiac Disease, Information and Education

The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to increasing diagnoses of celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders and improving quality of life for those on a lifelong gluten-free diet through empowerment, education, advocacy and advancing research.



Celiac disease is an autoimmune digestive disease that damages the villi of the small intestine and interferes with absorption of nutrients from food.



NFCA advocates for access to high quality healthcare, along with gluten-free food and drug safety standards.  NFCA educates individuals, healthcare providers and the food industry to understand the needs of those maintaining a gluten-free diet.
