NARFE (National Active & Retired Federal Employees Association) is a National non-profit association devoted to preserving the earned benefits of federal workers, retirees, and their surviving spouses.  Virginia Federation of National Active and Retired Federal Employees (VFN) is the Virginia Federation of Chapters with over 11,000 members geographically located in 37 Chapters.

All Chapters of the Virginia Federation of Chapters (VFC) serve as volunteer advocates for the grassroots issues affecting senior citizens, in general, as well as its NARFE members, allowing NARFE to maintain a strong presence with the U.S. Congress and Virginia General Assembly. Also, Chapter members reach out to their local communities to assist as volunteers at local elections, libraries, hospitals, and other civic and social organizations. In addition, NARFE's charity of choice for 20 years is Alzheimer's Research and its members nationwide have contributed over $6 million.  Join or learn about NARFE at www.narfe.org.
