English Language Program

The English Language Program (ELP) provides English language support to students who are academically admissible to VCU but in need of improved English skills and proficiency, thus enabling them to be more competitive in a classroom environment. The ELP also serves individuals who want to improve their English language skills for career and personal reasons.



Offers better language skill for undergraduate and graduate study, career purposes, and social interaction. Five eight-week sessions offered each year at eight levels. Language lab, computer lab and other student services available. Can provide courses for businesses and other special interest groups.
