Who We Are

The INFO-LINE is designed to provide victims of crime information and support. Callers will be informed of their rights as victims under Virginia's Crime Victim and Witness Rights Act and will receive additional information, support, and referrals to programs and resources in their communities.



If you would like to contact the INFO-LINE via email please write infoline@dcjs.state.va.us. Telephone 1-888-887-3418 Monday-Thursday from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm. If you reach the voice message system, your call should be returned by 4:30 that day or by the end of the next business day.



If you are a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking, and you need immediate assistance, please contact the Virginia Family Violence and Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-838-8238 (V/TTY). Hotline staff is available to help you 24-hours a day.
