Domestic Violence Victim Support Groups

Empowerhouse Supporting Survivors of Domestic Violence (formerly Rappahannock Council on Domestic Violence) offers support programs for domestic violence.  A support group for survivors in the planning district is currently meeting virtually on Monday evenints from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. Batterer Intervention is a 24 week educational program for men who have been abusive to their partners.  A comparable program is also available to women who have been abusive to their partners.  Contact Mendy Pierce at mendyp@empowerhouseva.org for more information.10/



Victim Support Groups are curriculum based programs for women involved in an abusive relationship.   An open support group is offered to women waiting to be placed in a closed group.
